The 2026 Firehouse Run is scheduled for Saturday, March 28!
Our 46th race begins at City Hall with sign up at 7:00 am. The 1-mile fun run will start at 8:00 a.m. The 5k and 10k will start at 8:30 a.m. This is a rain or shine event. Sappington Road will be closed for the race between Essex Ave. and Moreland Ave. from 7:20 a.m. to the conclusion of the race.
The 1-mile Fun Run, 5k, and 10k will be on same route as last year. Big River Race Management will be timing both runs. Walkers, strollers and pets are welcome! Click here to register now.

Registration for the race begins on January 1, 2026. Sponsorship and donation inquiries can be sent to events@glendalemo.org.
Packet Pickup: Runners can pick up their race packets the week before the race at Glendale City Hall (424 N. Sappington Rd.), Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., or the morning of the race from 7-8 a.m.
Award Categories:
- Awards will be presented to the first overall male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k events.
- Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups for the 5k: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Over.
- Awards will be given to the first overall male and female finishers in the following age groups for the 10k: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Over
