The Board of Aldermen of the City of Glendale will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Auditorium at 424 N. Sappington Road, Glendale, MO 63122 to consider the zoning code update development as part of the Blueprint Glendale Comprehensive Plan.
The updated zoning code is a significant structural reorganization and update of the prior code, which was originally adopted in 1963, designed to make it easier to use and interpret. The composition of residential and commercial districts—and the uses permitted within each—are not substantially changing and align with the recent Blueprint Glendale Comprehensive Plan adopted by the City. The City’s Municipal Code and the proposed revisions are available at www.glendalemo.org/ZoningUpdate. To review the Comprehensive Plan, please visit www.glendalemo.org/CompPlan.
The public is invited to provide comments at the hearing or submit written comments in advance. Written comments may be sent to fjohnson@glendalemo.org or mailed to City Hall, 424 N. Sappington Road, Glendale, MO 63122.
Individuals requiring special accommodations (e.g., hearing impaired, etc.) to attend the hearing should contact City Hall at 314-965-3600 by Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Glendale will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, September 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Glendale City Hall Auditorium, 424 N. Sappington Road, at which time citizens may be heard on property tax rates proposed to be set for 2026.
The property tax rates shall be set to produce revenues that the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 shows to be required from the property tax, subject to legal restrictions imposed under the Hancock Amendment to the Missouri Constitution.
